2025 OPEN HOUSE GUIDE
Welcome prospective grads! We look forward to meeting you.
Dress attire is casual. The weather in San Diego in February is cool, so please dress in layers as classrooms can be cool, and bring a warm jacket for the evening and early morning temperatures of 45 Degrees F on average and daytime temperatures of around 65 Degrees F. There will be walking involved, especially for the campus tours and beach walk, so plan accordingly.
You can meet with current grads from various lab groups throughout the week. A schedule of office hours and graduate student panels will be posted as it gets closer to open house.
Prof. Deak is the Faculty Graduate Advisor. Reach out to him with any questions regarding curriculum and the program.
Thanh Maxwell, our Graduate Advisor, can answer any questions you might have. Her office is in the Cognitive Science building - room 144, stop by and say "hi".
This map shows you how to navigate from the Cognitive Science building to the Design Lab.
